Hello all! I wanted to let you know about a little pet project I’ve been working on with Margaret Lam, whom I met while working at Sneak Peek Orchestra. Margaret and I share many outlooks with regards to the classical music world, one of which is the high importance we place on the ability of online and viral marketing to help bring in audiences. It probably comes as no surprise to some of my readers that I am very passionate about bridging the divide between audience and performer. There are many emerging groups, especially in Toronto, that are revolutionizing the way classical music performances are perceived. It is our hope to raise the profile ofsuchgroups in the city through an online service that makes it easy for potential audiences to explore and discover performingarts events in their city. Timothy Crouch is an exciting, up-and-coming flutist based in Toronto, Ontario. Across Southern Ontario he is in demand as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, as well as a sought after studio musician for film recordings. Notably, in 2010 Mr. Crouch was awarded with the top prize in the first annual Canadian Flute Association Competition.
